AboutYou is a German online fashion retailer founded in 2008 and headquartered in Hamburg. They primarily focus on offering an individualized shopping experience through:

  • Advanced personalization algorithms: These algorithms analyze user data and preferences to recommend personalized product selections and styling suggestions
  • Content creation and storytelling: They create engaging content featuring influencers, stylists, and trendsetters, inspiring users and showcasing how to wear different items
  • Focus on data-driven decision making: They leverage data analytics to understand customer preferences, optimize their offerings, and personalize the shopping experience

On August 24, 2023, the ABOUT YOU Group spun off its existing business unit, SCAYLE, into a separate legal entity. This means that while SCAYLE remains part of the ABOUT YOU Group overall, it now operates as a distinct subsidiary with its own legal and financial structure
